Nice to see USMC using common sense

I saw this - after actually seeing a young marine on out local tv news interviewed as he stepped off a Delta flight here at CVG. He was wearing his combat uniform. Looked the part. Seeing that USAF and Army aleways on commercial flights in combat uniforms, glad to see USMC was doing the right thing as well.

There's an additional benefit - when you stop in Shannon, Ireland for fuel/crew swap you don't have to pay for drinks!

D'oh I had to pay for drinks at shannon, then again I wasnt comming back from operations.
I've been through Shannon a number of times, this was the first I was in cammies... So I've spend my share of duckets in Ireland on drinks!

However, I learned two things this last trip:

1. Irish chicks dig a man in uniform ;)

2. Retired Marines will find you, no matter where you are in the world. I had an older couple buying me drinks, turns out SHE was the retired Marine, and he was just along for the ride.
