GOUGE FY-27 STA-21 CORE Selectee — Rhode Island Gouge

Hey everyone,

I was selected for FY-27 STA-21 under the CORE option and am looking for any and all gouge on the Rhode Island portion of the program. I’ve been digging through the site, but it’s been tough to find recent information.

For anyone who has been through recently, what should I expect as far as the daily schedule, academics, PT, living arrangements, and liberty? Also interested in what to bring, what to prepare for beforehand, and anything you wish someone had told you before showing up.

I’m planning to screen for Pilot later on ASTB scores are 72 9/8/9. Would appreciate hearing from anyone who has gone through that process as a CORE selectee, especially regarding timing and what to get ahead of.

Any advice, firsthand experiences, or links to relevant threads would be appreciated. Thanks!

Most if not all of your questions can be found on the official STA-21 website and the OTCN/NSI website.

If you already applied / got selected to a university, suggest you teach h out and connect with an OC or two to help mentor you.

Congrats on being the unicorn selected for a non nuclear STA -21 program.
