NIFE Overview

Nice write-up, you must have been in the physio class just before mine. Every buddy I lost in NIFE got attrited due to academics. I would say if academics at OCS wasn't a problem, then you won't have much of a problem in NIFE, although it is harder. Prior flight experience won't help you in academics as much as some may think so don't be dumb and blow off studying if that's you. I also knew a decent amount of people who would fail the cockpit trainers in flight phase and it was almost always due to not studying enough.

Also go to Seville ffs man.

How're you feeling about the game last night? Broncos got robbbed!

Also, when did you graduate from Western?

I graduated in 2023 when we were only good at hockey. It definitely feels like we got hosed last night but you also just can’t let them make catches like that. At least we did a lot better than everyone thought we would.

What percentage or how many folks from your class did you lose? Also, other than chair flying, is there a sim or anything you can use on your own time to practice for flight phase?

I had a pretty small NIFE class, out of 22 American students we ended up losing 2. I knew of 4 others who graduated with 1 pink sheet. There are a few sims upstairs in the NASC building as well as a few in the apartment complex that Skywarrior owns. I would say chair flying in front of a poster will get you most of the practice you need. Everyone we lost in our class failed academics and I only knew of one pink sheet given out in flight phase.
