Yeah, seems like a bit of an oversight on NRC's part to have a small sect of the people get their results but not the rest. But hey, last board the second wave came 10 days after the 1st batch. 10 days for this one is Monday.

I think having board conventions once a year for civilian applicants is perhaps the most grievous oversight. How many very desirable applicants are going to choose another job instead of the Navy because they don't want to be led on for over a year or they're sick of board cancellations? Something similar appears to be happening in aviation--my OR said he notified 3 SNAs that they got PRO REC-Y in the recent board, but all three declined (presumably because they found something else in the meantime). I'm guessing the Navy accounts for this yield rate, but it seems "sub-optimal" to say the least.

The civilian applicants that qualify for ISEL will still be getting picked up, those are the ones who in most cases would be getting picked up anyway.
