Hey everyone! I know this is probably a long shot but figured I might has well ask.

I’m degree complete this December, but my actual graduation ceremony isn’t until May. My current OCS date is January 24th, so unless something changes, I’ll most likely miss my graduation.

Graduating from college is very important to me, and I’d really hate to miss walking with my class if there’s any way to avoid it.

Does anyone know if there are later OCS classes that people can switch into? Or if anyone has a later date and is trying to go earlier, I’d definitely be interested in swapping if that’s even possible. Thanks!

Tell your recruiter you'd like to postpone your date, see if they can work something out. Might be hard to find someone with a later date that meets your timeline, the latest date for the most recent board was February 14th.

This is definitely an “ask your recruiter” situation but being that you’re BDCP it’s going to be a difficult sell convincing the Navy to pay you to simply hang out the next several months after you finish school.
