I was told by my OR that everyone's class dates got stacked alphabetically via last name. I got December 6 but I'd like to go sooner than that if able. Additionally, given the two weeks of leave surrounding Christmas/new years, what does this actually reflect for OCS candidates while they're there? I understand it's based on stage of training, but I actually live within an hour of Newport -- the idea of having on-base liberty for two weeks while training is paused without getting to go home sounds horrifying to me. If I have to be on base during the holidays I'd much rather be progressing towards commission rather than hanging out waiting to resume.

From what I was told, we don’t get two weeks. As candidates, we only get two days. 24th and 25th.

Copy all. Two days is still a nice bit of time off. I feel like two whole weeks would maybe make it difficult to go back.

Okay honest opinion needed. I just talked to my recruiting office and he is pretty convinced that my disclosure of marijuana is why they didn’t pick me up for pilot, yet I am an NFO select. My scores at 677 so I really need to be 8 and above as it is if I reapply. Do you guys honestly think disclosing marijuana was that much of a weight?
