The admiral I work for. I was told each commissioning source (ROTC, USNA, OCS) gets 250ish slots each year for SNAs.

Wait so ISEL, BDCP, ISPP and street are all given a total of about 250 slots between each??!

My recruiter expressed concern that not performing a PRT soon after hearing ProY may result in getting a later OCS date than we were initially given. Performed my PRT today, hoping to hear that the OCS date I was told previously hasn’t been changed.

Wouldn’t take make more sense if your OCS date and selection date are less than 45 days apart? My recruiter expressed that I need to get my PRT done 45 days before my ship date but getting it done earlier allows me to get my FINSEL and request and earlier ship date.

Yes, basically yes, and yes. I’m still expecting to do another PRT anyways though ahah

No. BDCP is a different pot. I believe it’s like 50 slots a year for BDCP. this is not objective, just what I’ve seen through research

50 was the initial number when BDCP came back in 2021-2022. It has since expanded beyond that.

May have to. I graduate in December, so I won't be able to go until January anyway. When I asked about OCS dates he said he'd get back to me but it may be a while.
