Why would something that is used to evaluate LCACs be a factor here? Check out the aviation program authorization and see where LPSS is mentioned. If it’s not, why would it be a factor?

In their defense, the program authorization also doesn’t say anything about drug waivers but appears to be a hard disqualifier when other designators allow it.

If we are both referring to the LPSS (LCAC Psychomotor Standard Score), I have just always been curious about what this score actually means, represents, etc. I have searched other forums for answers; it seems there is no clear explanation yet, so I was seeing if anyone knew nowadays of this score's importance.

I think this is a valid question to ask. It's on the test, and you nearly spend more time on that portion than all the other portions of the test. It must be there for a reason. I'm curious as well.

Here’s what I was told by both my recruiter and the NROTC guys at my college. Take with a grain of salt because nobody exactly knows. Apparently it’s derived from a test used to screen LCAC operators that the Naval Aeromedical Research lab developed in the 90s. It means nothing and has no impact on your selection. There’s supposedly a minimum score but nobody can actually verify if that’s actually true and you’d have to intentionally flunk the test by both changing your answers and picking the obviously wrong choices to hit that supposed minimum score.
 
Hey all, application has been submitted since end of September. Been through the ringer with boards being cancelled and what not. Is this board actually confirmed?

my recruiter did tell me that I am at board along with ~250 people… all we can do is pray that it doesnt get cancelled again

Say it actually happens, how long will it take to know if you got selected? Will the recruiters know as soon as the meeting is out?
