01JUN26 SNA/SNFO board

I’m assuming everyone is “competing” for the same spots as in there are only so many to give out, but as to directly competing with each other I think it makes sense to be within each applicant pool type so off the street will be going up against off the street apps and BDCP vs BDCP but tbh ISEL and ISPP sounds like they get the spots regardless lol so no competition between themselves
Yes you are pretty much right about that. The navy only has so many billets for the job to fill. I’m getting out of my swim lane here , but I’m pretty sure the navy allots a certain amount of billets to OCS guys, ROTC, and then naval academy grads. So ocs applicants are competing against other OCS applicants. Street or fleet.

I could be wrong about all that. The recruiter mods in here would know that better than me.

Are you able to confirm or deny if NRC processes applications individually, or if they work in batches in the same way the OCM seems to? In other words, would we expect everyone in the batch to hear results simultaneously, or might some applicants hear back before others?
The processors will review applications as they come in to a point, if it is close to a deadline/board they will prioritize those who are in a board starting soon. If ISPP or ISEL they have no reason to not process as they come in.

I’m just giving you the little bit of information I have bro haha. My package is being reviewed with the June 1 board and they told me 2-8 weeks. Just trying to give yall that information.
Hey! I’m active duty as well and applied via ISPP. Got the same email you mentioned with the exact “the OCS Application will be forwarded to the first eligible review board for Pilot-13900/NFO-13700” verbiage. Just curious if you received actual confirmation that it will be reviewed at the June board or just “first eligible board.” I could’ve swore I remember one of the PO1s at NRC mentioning we would be notified once our application was sent to the OCM. Debating if I should send an email to confirm or just let it be.

I think we are good once we have that confirmation email that it’s sent up. But if you want confirmation from OCM, may as well call or email them just to verify. However, I wasn’t told there would be a notification it would be sent to the OCM.

Generally you only get confirmation when it is received at NRC, if there is an issue they will let you know, if not it will work its way through the system.
