Lattice Degeneration

I have a waiver for this exact condition. Eye doc told me that most people that are near sighted have it and just don’t know it. Very easy waiver so long as it’s not progressively getting worse. You will just have to have an annual eye exam to keep up with the waiver. No big deal. -Current SNA
Update that’s what I thought it was for, but then went to the med liason and got dqd for “maladaptive personality trait” not even sure how that happened. I read in here someone got dqd for that in 2014 after having quite a few speeding tickets in college, and well, I also had those so perhaps that’s why, not sure.

Sorry to hear about the DQD.
Did you do an appointment with behavioral health? Or is this the first you've heard.

I did not this is the first I’ve heard, I just went to the med liason and he told me why I was dqd and I was like “wait that’s mine?” I was a bit in shock didn’t even know what to say to that.

We had a guy with a prior DUI in my class. If I remember correctly, he was required to go speak with behavioral health and do the psych eval...... granted, this was while we were at OCS and before his package was submitted to NAMI. Hes a helo guy now with a waiver and its never come up since.

I dont want to provide false hope, but I'd ask to verify if that's an option/did they intend to have you do a consult with them that wasnt submitted to NAMI. Bc this sounds like its in the same ballpark.
