The Program Authorization lays out the minimum criteria (you can find this on MyNavyHR), and you can search previous IWC boards to see metrics of applicants.

Can someone tell me if it is normal.
I submitted a PSSQ on March 27, 2026. My recruiter just texted me today and told me that they need to do a suitability interview and that they will contact me. I have never heard of a suitability interview, I thought PSSQ submission was the only suitability check they did.

If something doesn’t make sense just ask your recruiter. It’s their job.

I did talk to my recruiter and he told me it is very usual for IWC candidates get the suitability interview, but I have never seen anyone talking about it on this forum.
