…bonus pic…went to the Omega boutique in LAS a few days ago and purchased a blue Omega polyester NATO to be matchy-matchy with the patinated blue bezel insert on my birth year 1964 Ed White…

Ah, I think this is closer to the kind of Kart Wiesman drives. A serious racing machine.

Stopped by the Omega store at Tysons Galleria to drop off the X-33 for service, she's been jumping 5 secs for a few months and about a year ago the crown stopped working. Unfortunately it will take 'about 6 months' to get done?! I don't remember it taking that long last time.

The store itself was very nice and the customer service was excellent but I found it interesting that only three customers with a guest or two were allowed in at one time, with a security guard blocking access when that limit was reached. The store was only the second store inside one of the main entrances but I still found it interesting, along with the armed security guard across the hall at the jewelry store who looked quite serious.

Of course I did a little browsing and thought some of the Seamasters looked nice, with my favorite being $16,000, and they also had a 'Silver Snoopy' 50th Anniversary Speedmaster on display too, for $11,000. Maybe a retirement gift to myself?

Is Tysons the only one that will service X-33’s in the DC area, or will the downtown store take them too? In town for a bit for training, and I’m hoping to drop mine off and have them ship it back to me.
