1001 questions (and answers) concerning BDCP

Collegiates usually follow NTAG command leave policy that staff uses. Usually rule of thumb is leave required if collegiate is leaving CONUS and going overseas, but other NTAGs might have a more strict policy.

Good point, and sometimes things do get restrictive when something happens, when I arrived in recruiting there was a collegiate not from my district who had traveled to another state and passed away hiking or something like that, no one in the command knew where he was or what happened for weeks.

So I have a question about the dean's list promotion. When I applied to BDCP I used my fall 2024 transcript. Winter 2025 and Fall 2025, I made the dean's list. The only issue I foresee is that I signed the paperwork and swore in July 2025, so after the end of my Winter 2025 grades have posted. I did not turn in my Winter 2025 transcript till after I swore in. Would I be eligible for promotion? Also, before you say it, yes, I have talked to my recruiter, no, he has not answered with anything concrete yet, so I just wanted to see what you guys think.

Definite “not concrete”
