My recruiter’s the same way man. Dragging his feet every step of the way with no communication. I had my package ready for ISEL in March, and here we are.
 
I feel for those who couldn't make the board because of one thing or the other tbh. I am fortunate to a fantastic recruiter; I don't think I made it on time for the May board but he somehow got me in. And there's a list of other things he went above and beyond for me.

It could also be a blessing in disguise. Someone said the total count for how many are at board and there was like 150 SNA applicants. So this could very well be a very competitive board that you just dodged. A lot of perspectives you can look at

Well I’m also not at board apparently, there is a slight chance that my I-Sel packet was pushed to board/submitted after the 8/15 deadline but even if so I had a double guarantee from my recruiter that I’d be at this board regardless. Maybe it’s an I-Sel pushback only thing and we’re just not listed as “at-board” since we’re technically not applying through regular OCS board? I’m going to call my recruiter also on Monday and see what he says.

@exNavyOffRec Perhaps you'd have some insight into this? Are I-Sel pushbacks necessarily listed on the at-board list, and are we just automatically pushed to the next board regardless of NRC packet submission deadlines?

NRC tries to make the spots available at each board the same, the variable is the number of applicants, and unless they short cycle a board those numbers generally remain about the same from one board to another. You have to remember there are people always applying that start populating the next board.

Hard to tell then, it could be you were pushed to the board and just aren't on the at board list, that list is not 100% accurate.

Ahh got it that helps alleviate the stress a bit, I’ll get a definitive answer by Monday from my recruiter hopefully! And with Corvette also not listed at board but also I-Sel pushback and also got assured by his recruiter as I did that we’d be on the board regardless, I think perhaps the list is just no accurately representing odder cases. Thank you for clarifying things a bit!

Good to know, thank you. Does only the NRC know how many they typically take a cycle?

Yeah I definitely was blessed honestly. I've had some skeptical moments through this SNA process but God's been helping me through it.
