You should talk to your recruiter about this, everyone that my office had who applied again had to interview again, and it just made sense for them to do so as in general those who weren't picked up had scores that could be improved upon. If you had scores that were less than 10 from the OIC interview you should try to improve on those (or if the OIC narrative wasn't outstanding), this is where your recruiter can guide you. If you had great scores and work experience but the others were just better than that would be a different story.
Thank you for this advice!! Yes. Agreed. My recruiter just called me on Friday. I interviewed on January. He finally told me I didn’t get selected and there is another board in August that I would have to interview again for. According to my interviewer, he said interviewed pretty well and of need be reach out to him for a recommendation letter if need be. I’m actually okay with this. Timeline works for me! So, for context. I will be interviewing again with a different panel and a more polished package with new recommendation letter to include. I am not sure when they meet in August. But my recruiter informed this is the last board for FY 25.

So once you get selected, what are the next steps? I’ve already signed my contract and had my fingerprints taken. I feel like things are moving quickly for me, but I’m not sure—my recruiter hasn’t been very clear about the process.

I’d really appreciate it if someone could give me an idea of the timeline and what to expect next.

You don't sign a contract as a DCO. What did you sign? Oath of Office? Were you sworn in?

I signed a Service Agreement—maybe I used the wrong terminology, but it looked very much like a contract to me. 😅
It's the Ready Reserve service agreement, not a contract in the military sense in that it doesn't have an end date.

It was about 3 months for me from signing that to actually getting the Oath of Office. And then more time until you are gained by the NRC.
