Air Force OTS CGPA

I’m interested in commissioning as an Officer in the Air Force and going for a Pilot slot, but my CGPA is 2.7-3.0 CGPA for my Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering with a Minor in Aerospace. I’ve been scouring the internet for days while I wait for a recruiter to get back to me, but is there a GPA requirement to be an Air Force Pilot? Everything I’m currently seeing points to a 3.0 being the minimum allowed.

Was wondering if anyone had any insight here - just don’t want to get my hopes up and also prepare to look at another position I’d like to take up instead in the meantime. Any answers are much appreciated. Is there anything you all would recommend because I really do not want to give up this dream. Is there anything I can do to boost my chances?

This is a Navy centric site. You will probably get a more reliable answer on an Air Force site such as Base OPS. there is no point having a second thread asking a Navy specific question. would you like us to delete one of your two threads?

Good Luck

As mentioned above, this is a Navy/Marine Corps centric site. Perhaps try your luck on reddit but I can imagine that's a very low GPA.

Have you thought about the Air National Guard?
