Remember, the Ukrainians sank the Russian naval flagship by distracting it with a drone. So it shouldn't be surprising if they were operating a super important special aircraft in a way that caused it to get shot down. The Ukrainians have also been having great success with using the Bradleys and German Leopard tanks to lay waste to Russian forces and destroy Russian tanks. The Russians apparently STILL keep using the wave charge tactic. Ukraine had tried some tactics early on that proved fatal but quickly changed to something different, but the Russkies still keep adhering to the same thing.
Also now major portions of Russia are experiencing power outages as the government (Putin) has cut spending on utilities maintenance to fund the war, so many Russians are now without hot water, heat, or electricity in subzero temperatures. The irony is everyone thought portions of Europe might be freezing due to Russia cutting the gas but instead Russia is freezing itself.

It was an IL-76 in the Russian border oblast of Belgorod. The Ukrainian POW bit is what the Russians are claiming. There is no corroboration for that claim as far as I know.
