That’s insane, very impressive. Different but my favorite commission story is an LDO friend without a day of college. Smartest guy I’ve ever met.

I have known a few like that and a few warrants as well, one of the warrants was really smart at his job, but his grammar skills were a bit lacking.

I guess this is a stupid question but you're already a P8 and P3 pilot?
No I'm an enlisted AWO. Anti submarine warfare. I flew for about 10 years on the P3 and then did about 4 years on the P8. If anyone has any questions about VP life feep free to ask. I have a few fighter pilot buddies but obviously I have a lot more P8 pilot and NFO friends.

VP is my top choice! It seems like they go everywhere in the world!

Lol well ya we do haha. My last deployment I got about 420 hours and I went to sigonella, greece, norway, iceland, scotland, and the azores. Pretty much was moving locations about every 2 weeks. VP life is pretty nice as an enlisted I promise you it's even better as an O.

I did a bounce flight one day with a pilot who basically took off the plane, flew to Dallas, did a few touch and goes then landed us back in Jacksonville and hurried off the plane because he got box tickets to the PGA tour. He also lived in a penthouse on jax beach. He was def living the life.

That sounds like living the dream man! THAT is the kind of life I'm looking to seek as a VP NFO. The only duty stations are Whidbey, Jax, and Sig, right?
