Update on me texting my recruiter: he has not got back with me.

My take on the situation: I don’t see him getting back with me. If he does I’m sure the results won’t be back.

My conclusion: none of this is real, this is all an elaborate psychological experiment on us.

Schroedinger's board results. if you never open the box you're never not accepted.

Technically it’s only been 14 days since the board. Remember to count business days only minus Memorial Day.

More realistic to hear back next Monday.

I have a question for y’all. Anyone have an enlisted OR? The Nuclear recruiter in the office I use is an E-5. I found that really bizarre.

It is, they really aren't an OR, just more like "helping out" that was a grand plan several years ago to have recruiters recruiting both enlisted and officer, well figure this, if an enlisted is going to get beat down over not meeting enlisted goal but not really have any consequences to not meeting officer goal what do you think will happen? they will ignore you or push people with degrees to go enlisted because "they will make better officers" or "you will be more respected".

The other bad thing is when a CPO call the PM it is a peer to peer discussion, not so much when if ever an E-5 call the PM, but they won't.

Officer recruiters should only be CPO's or officers, medical I could see an E-6 maybe because they are so specialized.

I'm sure everybody's mileage is going to vary, but my recruiter is an NC1, formerly a BM... he's an absolute stud, probably going to make Chief soon. I've had a pleasure working on my package with him, he's kept me in the loop proactively and was a great guide through the obstacle course of waivers and such I had to get through to even apply for SNA.

All my buddies with officer OR's could never get a call back and felt like they were never being taken seriously. A Lieutenant in our district actually tried to get one of my friends to retake the ASTB because he was sure his scores were way too weak... said friend is currently in OCS as we speak after ignoring the O3's advice
