Anyone have any recommendations or advice on what workouts increase push-up counts?

I struggle with pushups as well but also have a good plank and run, work all muscle groups at least 2/week, etc.

Something I've been doing for 2 weeks but I've already seen some improvement is what's called "greasing the groove". It involves performing 40-50% of your maximum reps frequently throughout the day. I usually shoot for every hour, but if I'm busy I just squeeze it in whenever I can.

I'd encourage you to look it up and read more into it, the goal is to not get fatigued, but to essentially get your body used to doing pushups. Also, proper form is crucial, plenty of youtube videos to help with that.

You’re doing 50% of your max rep every hour, so if your max push-up was 50 you’re aiming to do 25 every hour. Am I reading that right? I like that idea

That's correct; its just practice though, not a workout. You'll just add it in to your current workout routine. I even keep this up on days where I workout pushups and/or chest. Its important to not fatigue yourself, however, and to rest if your muscles are tired or sore.

One week left till the at-board list ?
Also, another question just out of curiosity... for those without prior flight experience, what inspired you to go this route?
I’m all new to this, first time applying for Pilot/NFO board, what’s the “At Board” list? Just trying to navigate all this new stuff!
