CECOS housing?

Anyone know how housing works at CECOS?

Do we get BAH or are we in barracks? I would expect barracks.

This leads me to another question:

I’m expecting to go to OCS next June/July. This means that I’ll likely go to the February CECOS class (The August one is out of the question as I’ll still be at OCS.) This means I’ll be placed at my first duty station for a few months basically doing what I can until I go to CECOS.

Hopefully I get Hueneme for my first duty station.

But if I don’t, can my wife come to CECOS with me for those 4 months? Assuming I get BAH and barracks aren’t required.

Since you're married, there's a high likelihood that you'll end up in the Midway Estates, which are like little townhomes. At least that's where the married CECOS dudes and dudettes where being put up when I went through the EDO schoolhouse not too long ago. All of my married/accompanied EDO classmates were put up in the Midway Estates as well.

You stay at the NGIS on base during CECOS unless you're stationed there. Usually 2 people per apartment. I wouldn't bring your wife. You'll be stashed to whatever command you go to first after OCS and you'll be TAD to CECOS. Your BAH will be base on your parent command and not CECOS.

What people did for my class was road trip from their parent command to Port Hueneme with their wives and fly them back. Then same thing going back after graduation, fly in their wives then drive back with them.
