Anyone have a referral for a California tax attorney, preferably one in SOCAL/SD? I'm not looking for a CPA, but an attorney. Also looking for non-rapey, but good advice pricing.
 
I had a few loans and made some terrible decisions and then got fired. My savings won't cover everything I have to pay and I don't want to get in court. Also, I have to pay taxes and fees and I thought maybe there is a way to get a postponement? I'm not sure because my credit situation is not good. Anyway, some of my friends suggested that I have to find a tax attorney and I'm thinking of calling bankruptcy as a way out. Maybe I should search for a good san diego bankruptcy lawyer to help me through this and explain more how it works.

Not too many tax/debt/financial specialists here, so yes you should consult with a professional.
