Brady campaign lists AZ (tied with Utah and Alaska) as among the worse states in the country for gun law (safety ?).

I am so proud. I'd like to thank the Brady Campaign for this high honor, it is mind blowing to be in the company of the good citizens of UT and AK in sharing this award. I have so many to thank, ah, the AZ legislature, the governor, all the voters that believed that we could pull this off, and most of all, above all, I'd like to thank the United States Constitution. Thank you! Thank you! See you all at the gun range for the after party. :party_125

With all the hype and the bullshit, I'm still amazed the liberals can't understand basic math. And it's NOT an argument of correlation =/=causation. There is DEFINITELY a causation factor: More guns = less crime. PERIOD. If you even open your mouth to argue otherwise, you're an idiot, and also WRONG.

Hold the presses. I have just checked with the official accounting firm of the Brady Campaign Gun Law Safety Awards, Price Cooper Waterhouse. They have informed me there was a discrepancy in the tabulation of scores and subsequent ranking. The scoring allowed for a demerit of -2 points for allowing concealed carry without a permit. Taking that into account, UT remains at 0 points, AZ and AK are at -2 points!!!! While AZ remains tied for last place, their ranking has risen to an astonishing 49th (tied). It just gets better and better.

On the red carpet today I am carrying a little pocket gun. Understated, modern in appearance with clean lines and a cool touch. The skeleton pocket holster plays a game of sexy peek a boo with the observer's eyes. But in a nod to tradition it is in a classic cartridge. You will be able to see more of this look at the Scottsdale Gun Club, along with other favs of mine.

Seriously, off to shoot the Sig. Requal next Saturday.

I am really disappointed in Texas... we need to step that up.

We are tied for 28th with New Hampshire and Vermont!? New Hampshire?! Ver-fucking-mont!? This is an outrage!!

How is that even possible? I demand a recount.

I wonder if the families of these two children take solace in the Democratic Peoples' Republic of Kalifornia being #1.

I'm going to miss the people and climate of San Diego, but I can't wait to get the hell out of this bankrupt socialist "state."

Well they may not have tied for last place, but my future home of Kentucky didn't fare so badly. Tied for second to last...I'll take it.

I wonder if 'open carry' states skewed the point totals ... ???

And poor Hawaii ... I guess the Brady folks don't know most of da' Bruddahs' carry, no matter what the government says.

I'm betting it has something to do with the archaic 'background check' process that NC uses for pistol purchases. Anything that involves government intervention and a delay, just for a purchasing a pistol has to be in line with the Brady Campaign ideals.

That's why I -- and 99% of the other holders I know -- got my CCW permit. Too bad it's such a hassle to actually carry concealed.

Wish they had a rating for all military bases. I still think it's retarded that I can fly around in an aircraft laden with explosives and ammunition, yet can't bring my own handgun on base . . .

Damn it! My state is 43rd! 43rd! Bullshit complete and utter BS. The only thing Arizona has on us is that pesky "you can carry concealed without a permit" law. I'm writing/calling/emailing/visiting my Congressman/Senators/Governor. :icon_rage We need to be number fifty I say!

Where do all the big-time mass shootings seem to be? Schools, gov't buildings, and now military bases.

All places where you can't pack heat. Coincidence?
