Wow... that's crazy. I always knew there was alot of stuff used/eaten/sent/etc. on a carrier during deployment, but wow...

Kinda shows they really are like floating airport-cities...

Yeah my first though exactly, it's like a small city! Some of those numbers are incredible!

Why the big difference in a/c launched and recovered? I understand some go back to the mainland, any to other carriers?
Best guess is they counted their "no load" cat shots (notice it is catapult shots, not aircraft launched).

I think that the amount of chicken served in the galley was wrong, it had to be way more than that. Everybody knows you eat baked damn chicken for almost every meal.

Two things that I found interesting. Why don't I have stock in snickers, and how much rice is served? Also note, they're makin money on my bas if the average cost of a meal is less than two dollars...

Fun Fact:

A typical mess bill was around $200 a month on the Vinson, our BAS is $184. Go Figure.

I wish they had the numbers for the number of Egg and Cheese Sandwiches VS-33 had at midrats.

You're damn right!
Operations out of 5 forward-based locations, 20 international airfields. And less than 1 month total spent on the boat. FLY CODS. ;)

I'd like to see figures for a P-3 deployment; I bet they'd go something like this:

Personnel:
Over 2400 travel claims processed
Over $4.8million paid in per diem
Over 9000 hours of head to head Halo 2 played
40,000 CEU (Can Equivalent Units) of beer consumed
Over 1500 bottles of hard liquor consumed
352 DAPA referrals (j/k!)

Engineering:
Uh, we don't have engineering spaces…

Missions:
Ordinece Expended - 0

We did have quite a few reenlistments though!

The Per Diem estimate might not be that inaccurate, just doing some gross math.

Is that all JAGs do on the boat? Where are the stats about hours of finance and law of war classes inflicted on junior enlisted personnel and the number of zipper malfunctions dealt with?

Only twenty five unreps? Seeing as how that's about the only fun I think SWOs get to have, I'm amazed it's not more. Especially on a six month cruise, that's only like one a week...

I worked as an accountant and did lots of tax stuff couple of years ago. Would there be a money-making opportunity for tax returns and whatnot? :tongue2_1
