If you can't handle keeping yourself out of trouble as a result of extra free, time then you're probably in the wrong business.
"huh...a day dick around flight....what ever should we do with this bag of gas?"

According to Statesman it is, crucifictions are done on Mondays.....hence the phrase "sounds like a case of the Mundays"Friday is a work day?
I don't know how the academies do it but the Army and USAF guys at my school were usually did not go on active duty until they reported to their schools
Being active duty doesn't solve the problem of acting like idiots.
Don't "they" say that integrity is doing the right thing when no one is looking? What a rare and beautiful opportunity the aviation community has to do a six-month integrity check on all these budding aviators!! They should do something like that Navy-wide. In fact, my own personal integrity is probably feeling a little questionable these days; I think I'm due for my three-year re-up...
I was on active duty all four years at USNA (at least that's what my ID said). I'm pretty sure the other academies do it the same way.
