Looked it up, and just in case you need to impress your friends: it's a Wessex HC.2 Mk. 2 (turbo-powered Brit version of the H-34 built under license by Westland).

Wiki says the Uruguayan Navy has two. Here's their SAR bird:

Agreed. Fly-past?? How could you make that mistake? It just sounds wrong, even if your not an aviation guru.
