Going through some old pics from active duty...found this one from 1991 aboard the USS Fletcher...getting ready to party in Vancouver, BC.

We wore huge beer goggles in Vancouver...Vancouver rocked.

"Wash Khakis"...too bad we couldn't wear them ashore at the squadron.

Vancouver was a wild place, I remember having this cute girl hitting on me and I thought this is great, of course it turned out she had a price

I hear you...I had the same problem...the 'professionals' really seemed to dig my action.

I could frequently be heard saying...

"Are there any NON-professional women around here that would be interested in a small town farm boy from Wisconsin?"

"Anyone?"

"Hello?"

"Well, I guess I'll just have to go back to the boat and play Tetris on my Nintendo Gameboy!"

Speaking of 'professionals'...there were 'tons-o-professionals' in PI...and speaking of PI...I just unearthed my 'PI Special' belt buckle (see pic below). I'm looking forward to wearing it again...both at work and at play.

Curious if 'PI Special' belt buckles are still made. I purchased mine during visit #1 to PI in 1989 when I was an H2P on my first deployment. I was told (ordered) by our DET OIC that I had to purchase one. I don't remember the cost but I believe it was around $10-$20.

Cherry Boy!

Doing stupid shit on the helo deck of the USS Vincennes during no-fly ops due to poor wx...1989 or 1990...I'm the stupid one on the left.

After I beat the crap out of everybody on the boat at Tetris...I would do stupid shit (obviously).

Dang...my butt looks sort of big there.

1/250 scale!

It's die cast and the landing gear extends/retracts!

The tires are REAL rubber and roll freely!

No assembly or painting required!

Sorry about the picture size. I was surprised it still looks presentable, It held lots of Pesos in its time. Usually not for long.

Looks good from here!

So those Pesos flew out of that money clip...directly to the mitts of the mama-san?

A different time in a different place! That nice young lady handing out cold adult beverages got her share too.
Oh, for sure!

Got to make the monetary contributions for the almighty San Miguel.

That's a great hooker pic!

Hooker pics (and hookers in general) are cool...it would have been nice to have the option to play with hookers in the Navy...BUT...I didn't have hooker grades in primary...not even close.
