The T-6's in P'cola are going to VT-10. They were supposed to start the instructor triaining for them in November 02. They already had a few when I left for Int/Adv in San Antonio of Sept 02, so I know P'cola already has T-6's and VT-10 will be the first NFO training squadron with them. I see them everyday here in San Antonio. They fly the pattern right over my house, but now I am in the militarized Boeing 737-200 navigating the pilot with a Tacan that four other students share, a radar scope that is hard to see, and a chart in True headings.....but now I have a computer to tell me the drift(crab angle) and the Ground speed/wind. No more one min GS checks like we did in the T-34!!
