Come on dude, there are only 6 of them or something anyways...and half of them are "Eject". You should have those things memorized within an hour of getting your books :D.

Here is a link to some of them. Seems like there are a lot of different versions though, and I remember there being much more. Anyway, something to get you started.

Don't worry about it, enjoy your leave, you will have PLENTY of time to learn Boldface/OP's limits in groundschool. TRUST me.

Ummm.. are you fucking serious!

That's all you have to memorize as far as EP's go?

I think those would maybe take up as much room as one or two of the larger EP's we have to memorize in the pocket checklist for the 'ol 34.

Yeesh. I'll never look at the Air Force guys the same again..

The AF only has to memorize the actual boldface, while the Navy has to memorize the asterisked items.

Why isn't the first step of aborting takeoff "PCL-Full Beta"? Oh....that's right, because the Air Force sucks. No, I'm not bitter, why do you ask?

Vance's are far easier than this ^^

One plus side to Vance.

I haven't seen anyone fail an EP quiz for miscapitalizing a letter down here. Or, as happened to one of the guys down here at the AF-run centralized IFS in Colorado, fail a boldface quiz since the instructor thought he wrote MASTER SWITCH too close together becoming MASTERSWITCH :icon_rage. Other people have failed the verbal quiz for saying "flaps to landing" instead of "flaps... landing".

So I take it you don't think attention to detail is important?

The right to keep and bear arms
The AF's method of memorizing the boldface is very lame. There was a lot of time wasted writing boldface/ops limits over and over and over again because of misspelled words or punctuation. However the Air Force spends A LOT of time talking about and training for emergency situations, and I felt very confident that with the training I received I could deal with them properly. As much as standup EP's sucked, doing them over and over again forced you to think through every emergency situation possible so many times that you almost instinctively knew what you had to do. Yeah, their boldface is shorter, but it covered everything that needed to be memorized.
