Looking to choose between going to Lemoore or Oceana after training. Obviously, there are pros and cons to the cities and surrounding areas.

Looking to discover what the differences between missions and deployments between the two coasts? What about the personality of squadrons on both coasts? Do SFWL squadrons ever go out on Pacific Deployments? Is living in Lemoore smelling cow shit every day worth it if the deployments are more dynamic than east coast deployments?

Looking to make a decision based on geography, op tempo, and enjoyability on a JO tour deployment.

Lemoore Oceana or Miramar

...my experience was at -101, where it was just a crap shoot for Navy guys... If you're talking about a time when the Tomcat FRS was "one coast" and the squadrons were still "bi-coastal"…I get that. Does that still apply to the Hawkeye community? I know the Prowlers/Growlers have always sipped...
