Salute to the Pioneers of Space at the Naval Aviation Museum

This coming Saturday the 15th they are holding panel discussions on Apollo 13 and the Apollo/Mercury/Gemini programs at the National Naval Aviation Museum in Pensacola with some pretty distinguished guests. Click here. This looks like a pretty awesome event. This guy will be there, just look for one of the Ensigns in SDBs playing chauffeur.

Dammit, I wish I could make this.

I'd have to ask how they made a capsule big enough to carry them and their gigantic ballsacks to the Moon.

I had the pleasure of meeting Gene Kranz when I was at JSC, I did some volunteer work at the “Lone Star Flight Museum”, so did he. He is a Steely Eyed Missile Man.
