Sorry if this has already been asked, but...
I just starting my application for OCS and I'm worrying about references. How important are they? I've been working at the same place for the past 5 years, so I only have one employer's reference. I'm in college now, so my peer references are going to be a couple professors, but that's it...I don't know any officers in the armed services to write a reference for me. Any suggestions on improving my references?
I have a 3.4gpa and my OAR score is alright but not great (thinking about taking it over again, i know i can do better), so i figure that I'm borderline already, and don't want ****ty references to doom me. thanks!
