Ok, so I realize this may win the award for random question of the year, but would the airlines allow an MRE on board in carry on luggage? I would assume yes, there's no liquid in them that I can recall. Someone at home wants me to bring one for Thanksgiving, and I want to try to avoid being detained like Gaylord Focker. Thanks guys.

As long as it's still sealed, MREs are allowed on planes.

Allowed, yes. Doesn't mean some TSA drone won't still give you a hard time about it.
