Hey,

I was wondering if anyone knows the differences between nursing option NROTC and the regular navy option. (classes, pft standards, summer cruises, etc.)

Thanks!

I think everybody (not to include Marine option) has to meet the same PRT/PFA standards. Our nurse options here don't come to our bi-weekly drill, don't come to Company PT, and I don't even know if they have to take Naval Science classes. We have one who is actually doing a semester internship (residency?) in a city 8 hours away. As far as cruises, I don't know...

Nurses wear the same uniforms! They go on their own cruises during the summer. However, being naval officers they are held to the same PT standards.
