PRK question

Here's the deal, I had PRK about 18 mos. ago. 20/20 vision post op but lately (the last month or two) it seems like maybe it's slipped to 20/25 or 20/30. Does anyone know if you HAVE to be 20/20 after PRK or can you still wear contacts if your still 20/40 or better for the Marines or Coast Guard? Fvcking Navy officer recruiter said they won't even consider age waivers (turn 28 next month).

I believe for all Naval services, post-PRK, you need what anyone else does. At least 20/40, correctable to 20/20.

I'm curious why you think it's the recruiter's fault that the Navy won't accept a waiver? Or were you cursing out the Navy itself?

Thanks for the reply, I guess I'm cursing out the Navy in general if that's thier policy, the recruiter's just doing his job.
