If I understand correctly, in the active Navy you can get on a waiting list for PRK/Lasik...does anyone know if there are programs like this for the Reserves? I was told that as long as I schedule the procedure during my active-duty period over the summers (provided I'm not deployed), it should be covered. But then, if I'm on active duty while my eyes are recovering, wouldn't I need leave for that? Doesn't seem like it adds up...I have a consult soon, but wanted to see if Navy would cover it if I wait.
