PRK at TBS - What is the Marine Corps order?

Currently at TBS waiting to pick up with E company. I am going to be competing for an air contract and wanted to get the PRK surgery to be more competitive. My SPC said it sounds like a good idea but wants to know if I get the surgery before I get an air contract will that disqualify me completely? Does anyone know what the "Official" word on getting PRK while at TBS before getting an air contract is?, or where I can find the official Marine Corps order on what is accepted. This is the info my SPC wants in order to have my CO sign my PRK paperwork. All info would be extremely helpful. Thanks. SemperFI!

If your at TBS in Mike Co, I suggest making an appointment with the flight surgeon on Mainside and talking to him about it
