PRK and NROTC

Aggie08

IFS complete, starting API June 26!
If anyone out there is in NROTC and planning on doing PRK, I just wanted to put the advice out there to do it early. I'm a junior and just finished the process of getting PRK and getting the waiver cleared. Unfortunately, I did not know that you had to have your PRK waiver by spring break of your junior year if you want to do Aviation for your 1/C summer training, so I missed out on that. You especially have to keep in mind that depending on your eyesight, you have to wait either 3 or 6 months after your surgery to even apply for a waiver!
