Just wanted to start this forum for people to share information about the marine contracts for pilot slots... I have tons of questions on it and I'll begin to post them... please submit as much info as you have to this forum on the plc aviation program. thanks...

Some questions...

Do they look at your high school grades or just college gpa?

What do I need to score on my asvab to be competitive for the plc program?

ANY INFORMATION WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECATED!

I don't think that you need the ASVAB If your SAT is above 1000 - they only looked at my college GPA - but I'm not PLCer.

College GPA weighs more heavily than anything else followed by your PFT score. They look at the different sections of the ASVAB like the EL score and stuff like that. Since I had a very high EL, they didn't look at my SAT which I did poorly on. But, if you've taken the SAT and done well on it, you don't have to submit a good ASVAB. Its either or.
