Used to have a photo gallery that Steve put together up on the site, just restored it with the pictures he had, and other pictures. Select it from the top link, or here:

Holy cow! In the F/A-18 pics, the one of the pilot facing the camera in the 5 ship, I think those are jets from my old squadron. On the vert stabs we were the only squadron with strips on the leading edges that dark, and the only ones on the E coast with them at all. They were painted, if you look at the closer aircraft on the left side of the pic, the strip on the vert stab is painted in what looks like the blue we had painted on "Nuts" .... It has to be old though, no one flys with those helmets anymore that I ever saw.

Hey John, where did you get that pic? Did it have a caption or something with it saying where it was from?

He'll dazzle you with terms like "Code Red."
In the CVN section, does anyone know if the shot of the carrier with the mountains in the background was taken somewhere in Puget Sound? It looks like it might have been taken in the Juan de Fuca strait with either Vancouver Island or the Olympics in the background, heading to or from Bremerton or Everett. I'm from that area, so I'd appreciate it if anyone could fill me in. Anyway, cool shot- have it saved as my desktop now.

The carrier is the USS Lincoln, which is based out of Everett, but the shot is taken in Alaska, not in Puget Sound.
