Jonathan,

Yes you get paid at OCS. You will get E-5 pay, about 1592 per month. although you probably won't get your first paycheck until your 3rd or 4th week. Once you get commissioned you will recieve O-1 pay. You are in training even though you are not in API yet. Don't worry you will be doing something (at least mustering) every workday while waiting for API. If you take leave, you obviously will not be paid for that and they are only allowing 10 days for off the street personnel graduating from OCS.
hope that helps.

Yep,
you get paid on leave. As a matter of fact, you get 30 days of paid leave a year plus all federal holidays. If you get hurt or have an operation, you get convalescent (sp?) leave which is also paid and does not count against your 30 days a year. If you are married at OCS and your family is not in the area, you will also get housing pay as well as an additional $100 a month seperation pay. Its good to be married

I'm not sure if this true for officers, but if you are enlisted you get leave rations while on leave also. Simply put, more cash.
