Here's why I don't care. My pride doesn't come from the score on my PRT. Furthermore, doing 100% on the PRT doesn't buy me anything. If drinking beer makes girls look better, well by golly I'll do that! If coming home after a long day of boring paperwork is best resolved by sitting on my butt watching tv, then I'll call it a mission accomplished. Now, in regards to how fast I run: do you care how fast I run? Why should I care? Do chicks dig guys who give 100% on a 1.5 mile run?
If going 100% on the PRT makes you feel good, then no one is stopping you. Don't assume that other people pride themselves on the same things as you.
