So I eventually found an answer to my own question. Corpus Christi Country Club allows military officers to join the club. They don't charge an initiation fee, dues are $252 a month plus a $250 annual range fee (which they will prorate), and they only ask that you give them 2 weeks notice when you plan on terminating your membership. They are very understanding of the nature not only of our service, but of the very transient lifestyle of flight students (we almost move more often than gypsies). The facilities are top notch (huge full service clubhouse, nice pool, fitness room, golf and tennis pro shops, 11 lighted tennis courts, and an incredibly well maintained course with a great, challenging layout and immaculate bermuda greens. Top notch place. I am pissed I didn't know about this in primary. It's located on Saratoga and Everhart. Hope to see some of you guys out there, unless you're in 27, in which case keep sharpening your Hitler youth knives and stay away from me.
EDIT: Kings Crossing has a similar military deal which is cheaper, but from what I have heard from absolutely everyone, it is a shit hole. A few guys at Corpus Christi CC used to belong over there, but couldn't stand the crappiness of the place.
