So if you were cleared/approved during your pre-commissioning flight physical, is there a reason to believe that you wouldn't be during the NAMI WHAMMY? I have a slight astigmatism that the doc said was making me read 20/25 in one eye. He said w/ a corrective lens (or contact) I'm good for SNA...would they retract this in P-Cola? Does that kind of thing get worse over a short period of time (1-3 yrs)?
Does anyone know if they test for nicotine when yo get your first urinalysis? Reason being, is I was told I have to take the test tomorrow all the sudden, and I smoked a little cigar yesterday... Yay florida. lol... Just not sure if this will give a bad test result or not, does anyone know?
Yup. That man has heeded exhortations to use the search function.Congrats on reviving an 8 year old thread to ask your question!
Received my N3M letter, attached, and looks like I'll need a waiver for PRK. Still don't know all of the details. Anyone with insight on the process and wait time?

Everything was sent in months ago, I got cleared from MEPS last Thursday and then I got notified about this. This is my second N3M letter, first one sent last Friday, indicated that I had not submitted my post op refractive data. So I did and now I got this letter.Did you submit all the checkups from your eye doc? I have seen a letter like that in the past and it can be due to either not submitting the eye exams needed, or the vision correction didn't take.

your recruiter needs to go through channels to find out exactly what is missing, then get that submitted, or they need to find out what the parameter is you don't meet
I'll work on that, my processor and recruiter are out for a little while. If a waiver is required, what's the typical time line from NAMI?your recruiter needs to go through channels to find out exactly what is missing, then get that submitted, or they need to find out what the parameter is you don't meet
