What is the latest on the airframe to replace the P-3? On schedule? Curious about overall thoughts and opinions on the matter.

They are calling it the P-8. Basically its a converted 737. The "plan" if you can call it that is to have them around in the late 2010's. I'm sure the P-3 guys can give you more details, but that should cover the basics.
