So we worship Jamie-Lynn Spears
That isn't quite what he said:Well, usually at some point in the campaign, the candidates get asked what they would do if their underage daughter became pregnant. Obama already was asked and said something to the effect of he wouldn't want his daughters to be punished for a mistake. So this will probably solidify her cred with the pro-life crowd. Not that she needed to, but...
He wasn't asked about his kids being pregnant, but about how his administration would address HIV/AIDS and sexually transmitted diseases among young girls. His point was made towards education in contraception. Apparently Palin's daughter must have missed out on said education."When it comes specifically to HIV/AIDS, the most important prevention is education, which should include — which should include abstinence education and teaching the children — teaching children, you know, that sex is not something casual. But it should also include — it should also include other, you know, information about contraception because, look, I’ve got two daughters. 9 years old and 6 years old. I am going to teach them first of all about values and morals. But if they make a mistake [and had pre-marital sex], I don’t want them punished with a baby. I don’t want them punished with an STD at the age of 16. You know, so it doesn’t make sense to not give them information."

I don't think anyone is going to spin it as anything but a tough road ahead for the teenager. But whenever conservatives/the religious right talk about something as stupid as "abstinence-only" education, this plays right into it.
Just think...she may be the youngest President in our history. (If and when TBD)
jk of course.
