They only gripe I had with the movie is the complexity of the graphics. When two guys were grappling, it was difficult to tell where Autobot ended and Decepticon began. It resembled a mass of computer-generated wires and chop-shop scrap tangled up and rolling around like so much tumbleweed.

On a side note, the movie sported an impressive display of pretty much every Army and Air Force aircraft. I also foresee a long and industrious career for Megan Fox.

Anyways, I only wish they'd have had Soundwave in the movie. I had to refresh myself via Youtube and get back up to snuff with my Transformer lingo, but as a kid there was always one that I wanted, Soundwave. He had the cool voice on the cartoon and played tapes in his chest, one was a killer dog, and the other some flying bird. Anyways, I was always jealous of my neighbor for having it.

Anyways, conversation piece, that's all.

Laserbeak and Ravage are the ones you are thinking about, and thats without looking it up...there was a 2nd bird just like laserbeak who I will admit I do not know the name of as I post this...but will look it up of course...

oh and for all the haters...I am 31 years old and will always dig the transformers, havent seen the movie yet and have doubts (since sound wave isnt in it) if you grew up in the 80's and didnt play with transformers......sucks to be you.....

after a quick wikipedia search, "buzzsaw" is the name of the yellow bird...and how can one forget Rumble and Frenzy??????

Wow, it was pretty corny. Sweet graphics but some retarded dialogue. Starscream and Optimus all the way.

VFA-203 Forever

So You Like To Put fishsticks in your mouth?
I saw it today with some buddies, 10x better than I ever imagined it'd be.

Shia Lebeauf in a non Disney Channel Movie?! He played a great part in this one, though.

Megan Fox..Holy...That's all that can be said about that.

Have to give them kudos for the military hardware to for not being too corny and fake. Saw a Nighthawk with a Black Sheep, 8th FS Emblem and the aircraft comms (Raptor/AWACS/Vipers) sounded like the real thing.

Is it just me, or does Tyrese always play a BAMF in the movies he's in?

I know he made me realize how badass I am for going to the academy. Funny, it didn't seem that badass when I was there...

Except for the DOD network everything else seemed to be pretty spot on. To me it felt like they actually listened to their military advisors when then wrote the script.

Heard they had a V-22 in it. Any truth?

On a related note, the newest VMM at New River made their new radio callsign "Prime," after Optimus Prime. I thought that was mucho-homo.

Yup, V-22 was kind of cool to see doing it's thing. M. Bay (who until this movie ranked as the worst director ever IMO) had unprecedented access to the military. Sad truth for all you haters out there, but the kids who grew up with Transformers are now the decision-makers in the military. Weird.
It was really funny to see all the guys my age who brought their kids to the movie. Kind of neat that something that started as 30-minute toy commercial actually affected people enough that they continue to be fascinated by it. I don't consider myself a dork (my wife, however, does), but something about Transformers always spoke to me. Dumb, I know, but it kind of introduced a world that wasn't black and white. Good v. Evil where Good sometimes lost. Good lessons 20 years ago and even more relevant today. Every generation has it's heroes and for me, at least, Prime was one of them because of the honor, leadership, and self-sacrifice he displayed. Yeah, he's a cartoon..got it STFU.

Last thing...for 2.5 hours last night I felt like a little kid with nothing to worry about except whether or not Jazz or Bumblebee was cooler. It felt good. Oh well, I'm done waxing poetic...let the flaming begin. Seriously.

Several Scenes of USAF CV-22's but they arent transformers they are just background Aircraft Porn.

53 guys will enjoy Blackout the MH-53/giant robot killing machine.

Oh so true. These were some of my childhood heroes along with GI JOE, and He-man. By far the best movie so far in this disappointing summer. Michael Bay has redeemed himself from his previous disasters (ie Pearl Harbor). The movie at times seemed more of a comedy than an action. Very well done.
