Not like you were doing something like checking schedules on laptops or arguing and went 150 miles past the exit... that would just be crazy! :D

I have driven across this country soooooooooooo many times .... I've beaten myself up on more than one occasion tryin' to do it 'fast' ... so my advice now would be: enjoy the ride, take your time, sniff the flowers.

It's a great trip (w/ apologies to Timothy Leary).

Sorry Beans, I haven't been near a computer that had NMCI in almost 3 weeks at this point. If it was anything major drop me an msg here with the details would ya? First two days weren't too bad. Left Jax at 1400, stopped in Mobile. Now I'm crashed out at a hotel north of San Antonio. Tomorrow the plan is to make it into New Mexico.

Totally messing with you. Have a safe drive, try to avoid stopping in El Paso.

BzB, ya know what I totally forgot your rec and still ended up going there to grab dinner. I was staying right down the street from it. Rudy's I think was the name of it. Def worth the stop if I get the chance again.

Edit: Nope, belay my last. It wasn't Ft Stockton, it was further south down near San Antonio. I just had Stockton stuck in my head cuz I stopped for gas there. Still, its Texas... there are plenty of good BBQ joints bout any exit you take.
