Just got done with MEPS looking for an answer...

When I went to MEPS a guy showed up in a t shirt, cargo shorts, and sandals.. big no no. He ended up borrowing the dress shoes (3 sizes or so too big) of an ex-Navy Seal so he could swear in, and in the end got rejected for allergies. The guy got chewed out all day long. It was pretty funny.
