When the last thing to go through your mind is your spinal cord, yes, that's a hard landing.

On a serious note, congrats to President Raisi: he quit smoking yesterday!!
Not to be cruel, but I hope they experienced weird noises and G--Forces prior to their demise...

Been waiting to see something like this.

Only one problem: this doesn’t appear to have been a mechanical problem. If Iran was complaining about lack of access to appropriate IFR training, they might have an argument… to which I would simply say “We DID train your pilots… and you shot all the pilots we trained. Stop being an asshole, this is on YOU.”

The mishap aircraft was relatively well equipped equipped with full gyro instruments, RadAlt, Wx radar, and would have been easily capable of 2 pilot IFR operations (stab bar) with a trained crew.
